My name is Susan Williams,and I live in a small South
Wales valley called Tonyrefail,which means, sound of the anvil.
I had the pleasure of owning my first bullie in 1994.At the moment I
have 3 bullies and one staffy.
My affix, Gwynsel, was granted to me in 2001.It is in memory of my late
parents. First part is from my mums name..Gwynfa. And second part from
my fathers name…Selwyn.
My first actual show dog was from Nick Richards, Shaydanick Sparkling
Lady for Gwynsel. (Gwladys). An Inferno daughter. We had our ups and
downs in the showring, but she taught me a lot.
I then aqquierd Idris..Shaydanick MrLoverman for Gwynsel, a Jamies
Bright Star son.Idris was consistently placed at CH. and open shows.
Sadly he tragically died at 2 yrs old.
I have bred 3 litters.The first was with Gwladys and Dai and Helen Halls
dog Cwmdulais Flash Harry. I kept a dog puppy and had considerable
success with iolo (welsh name)…Gwynsel Its Not Unusual. Iolo is now in
USA with Scott and Alison Ibbitson of Baker St Bull Terriers, where he
is loved and adored and spoilt rotten!!
I done a repeat mating with Flash Harry, and from this litter I kept a
very promising bitch puppy, Cariad, ( welsh for love)…Gwynsel Delilah,
who I had high hopes for. However, it was not to be. Cariad is now
causing chaos with Sian and Chris`s family in Truro.
November 20th 2004 is a day to remember. It was the day
Blodwyn( welsh for white flower) arrived from Cwmdulais, or to give her
official name…Cwmdulais Love Me Tonight at Gwynsel. Blodwyn made her
championship show debut on the 8th of May 2005.
November 12th 2005, Blodwyn won her 3rd and
crowning C.C. at the East Anglian Bull Terrier Club CH. Show. She
also picked up 3 res c.c.`s that year. And gained her junior warrant by
10 months old.
Blodwyn also won the res c.c at Crufts 2006. She was invited to
compete in the Regent Trophy and Ormandy Jug for bitches at the Bull
Terrier Club Trophy Show 2006. I would like to thank all the selectors
for inviting Blod. And to all the judges for thinking so highly of her.
I had a lovely
Christmas present, Gwladys gave birth to 7 pups on December 25th
2005, sadly one died.. Father was Cwmdulais Marshelsea Dai Another Day.
I am running on a bitch pup, Mabli, ( welsh for lovable)….Gwynsel
Sexbomb. Fingers crossed Mabli will be making her showring debut later
part of 2006.
This takes me
up to the present day. I will try and keep this website updated. And by
the way, yes, I am a Tom Jones fan. I name my dogs after Tom Jones
songs. Helen and Dai kindly let me name Blod Jones songs. Helen and Dai
kindly let me name Blod J
